I have borrowed a stablecoins on various protocols such as Aave, Anchor, Compound, etc. There is not a tag for loan proceeds or anything like that which I can find. How can I handle this appropriately? I should not be paying tax on these amounts obviously, but ignoring them results in negative balance warnings

I think you could “mark as internal” and they would not fall under an income based proceed. You have to do the same when you pay back the principle too (but above the principle would be marked as cost).

Make sense?
