Hello, I tried importing my eToro transaction history using the downloaded Excel file from eToro. The file appears to be accepted but no transactions appear. Am I doing something wrong?
If the file is imported successfully but no transactions are imported, it means most likely that the file doesn’t contain any taxable crypto transactions. Only crypto transactions used in tax calculations will be imported (transactions with stocks, precious metals, etc are ignored).
We have a quite complex algorithm that extracts relevant information from the XLSX file, so the transactions imported will be quite different than what you actually see in the file. I recommend reading our eToro guide if you haven’t already: Guide: How to Report Crypto Taxes on eToro [Updated 2021]
