Please add Avalanche metamask (c-chain)
Hi Vegar,
We have researched Avalance before but there is no API service released for this blockchain yet. We hope that they will fork Etherscan like other EVM chains like BSC and Fantom have done because that means it will take us no more than one day to add the integration.
We will keep our eyes open and check back with Avalance from time to time regarding this.

EIP-3038 & MetaMask
EIP-3038 is an Ethereum Improvement Proposal that defines an RPC method for adding Ethereum-compatible chains to wallet applications.
Since March 2021 Metamask has implemented that EIP as part of their Metamask Custom Networks API.
Let’s see how it works.
Metamask er kun en wallet og har ingenting med API å gjøre. Metamask støtter alle EVM-kompitable chains by default, men hver enkelt chain må likevel utvikle sin egen API-tjeneste som f.eks Etherscan som vi benytter for ETH i dag. Binance Smart Chain har Bscscan.com og Polygon har Polygonscan.com som begge er en fork av Etherscan.
Vi sjekket Avascan.info tidligere men da var det ingen API-tjeneste tilgjengelig, men sjekket igjen nå og ser ut som de har lansert det. Skal ta en titt på det i dag. Fra første øyekast ser det ut som de har utviklet en API-tjeneste helt forskjellig fra Etherscan som betyr at det vil ta lenger tid for oss å legge til integrasjon siden vi må gjøre dette helt fra begynnelsen av. Kan ha noe å gjøre med at Avalanche er ganske forskjellig fra ETH selvom det er en EVM kompitabel chain.

API’et som er tilgjengelig nå er ikke lenger aktivt ser det ut som, men står at de vil lansere nytt API når “Norge v2” er lansert. Skal se om vi klarer å komme i kontakt med noen fra Avalanche direkte i tilfelle de har en ETA for dette.

There seems to be public API’s available to integrate with all the different chains in Avalanche network, you can find the documentations here AvalancheGo APIs - Avalanche. Please let me know if this is not sufficient and why, so I can do some research and reach out to the Avalanche community members to add necessary support.

Thanks for suggesting this. We will look into Avalanche next week to see if this API can be used. We are currently doing a big update/overhaul to all API integrations already done so we’ve had to postpone new integrations for a couple of weeks.
Will post any updates to Avalanche in this thread later.

Looks very similar to Fantom API, so hopefully this will make it easy to implement
Is there a way to receive a push notification for when the Avalanche API import will be up and running. Also curious to see how the API handles staking Time and wrapped Memos on Wonderland. Thanks.

Avalanche should be working now. Can you try importing the transactions and let us know if there are issues?
I just tried syncing my Metamask wallet again to Coinpanda. Only seeing my transactions from Ethereum network. Nothing is importing from Avalanche network. Is there something I need to do so Coinpanda knows to look at other networks in my wallet?
