Similar to this issue where I have staked my ETH on Lido and got stETH. I have added the tag to ‘swap’ as per instruction but it still shows capital gains. Is this intended behaviour? or a bug?

That sounds like a bug, or maybe the system didn’t finish recalculating yet. But it is impossible for us to check that without viewing your account.
